life about town.

July 17, 2012

The littlest one and I have been getting some special time together this week as the older two have cool art and marine stuff to keep them occupied. We are having a really good, mellow time of it. We aren’t rushing around–well, there’s always some of that, but it has been significantly reduced this week–and we are just hanging out, wandering around saying hi to people and exploring.

We’ve decided a morning coffee/hot chocolate is on the agenda each day and there is a spot in town that is perfect for it (and for spying on one of the kids at camp…because we’ve declared ourselves spies this week too, of course…). It is managed by the sweetest, most skilled barista family of three who jumped ship from another place in town. The youngest member of the family is only 11 months, but hey, the girl’s got some mad coffee skillz! It’s now officially our favorite place to chill after a pretty morning walk. It’s a great place to listen to the seagulls and analyze every kind of marine vessel you could imagine.

Just an average day around these parts. ;)

(Stay tuned for another playlist. 8tracks wouldn’t let me publish it yet. Grrr.)
